Savannah Patterson

My Passion for Creativity

Actress | Filmmaker | Director

Savannah Patterson is a 25-year-old actress, director, and filmmaker based in Ohio. Whether she’s preparing students for the stage, developing her next film project, or getting lost in a favorite book, Savannah brings curiosity and heart to every creative pursuit. Off the stage and screen, she can be found flipping through vinyl at local record stores or collecting pop culture trivia that would impress any quiz show host.

Savannah currently serves as the Drama Department Director at Licking Valley High School, where she leads a vibrant theatre program rooted in student empowerment, artistic growth, and community connection. She is also the Theatre Team Lead at Weathervane Playhouse, helping guide educational initiatives and support the next generation of performers through mentorship and collaborative leadership.

In 2022, Savannah earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University, and holds certifications in Film & TV and the Business of Entertainment from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. These experiences continue to shape her multidisciplinary approach to performance, storytelling, and arts education.

A proud member of Women in Film, Theatre Communications Group, and The Performing Arts Alliance, Savannah is committed to creating spaces where bold voices are heard and meaningful stories are told. Known for her adventurous spirit and ability to lead with both vision and joy, she thrives in environments that challenge and inspire.

Beyond the arts, Savannah is a passionate advocate for conservation and environmental justice, believing strongly in the power of storytelling to spark change. Her ultimate goal is to create work that uplifts, entertains, and empowers—using her platform to inspire others and protect the world we share.

Grateful for the ongoing support of her community, students, friends, and family, Savannah approaches every new project with purpose and creativity—one story at a time.

Check Out My Newest Endeavor as the Pop Culture Scholar!

For a while now, I’ve felt a pull toward a more cinematic way of living that is shaped by my theatre roots, chaotic lifestyle, and passion for activism and advocacy. The result? A pop-culture persona framed in intimate yet cinematic aesthetics, viewing the world through a distinctly “Spielbergian” lens.

I hope to grow this into my own little universe centered on my love of film and theatre -- leading me back to screenwriting and film directing, launching a film & theatre centered blog & podcast, and eventually building my own production company. But for now, I’m starting slow and closing out the year with my 2025 review of movies I saw in theaters.
