LVHS Drama Department
Savannah Patterson is the proud Drama Director at Licking Valley High School, where she leads the school’s theatre program with a focus on artistic excellence, student empowerment, and inclusive arts education. Since taking on the role, Savannah has expanded the program’s offerings to include full-scale productions, workshops, student leadership opportunities, and community engagement events—all aimed at nurturing young artists both on and off the stage.
Under her direction, the LVHS Drama Department has become a creative hub where students are encouraged to take bold risks, collaborate meaningfully, and grow in confidence through performance. Savannah works hands-on with students in acting, voice, character development, and audition prep, while also directing the department’s annual plays and musicals.
Her mission is to raise the visibility and value of arts education within the school and greater community, believing that the performing arts provide a unique space for young people to find their voice, tell their stories, and build essential life skills.

She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University and additional certifications from NYU Tisch in Film/TV and Entertainment Business.
